Although I am a native of New Jersey, I have lived in Oregon for over twenty years and truly feel at home here.
I attended Cornell University in New York where I majored in English and captained the cross country team. I graduated with honors from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
While in law school, I was a member of the Benton Moot Court team and an editor of the Hamline Law Review. I began my law career in Minnesota, where I worked in the federal and county public defender's offices, clerked for two district court judges, worked as a municipal prosecutor, and finally worked as a defense attorney. After being admitted to the Oregon bar in 2006, I opened my own law firm in Salem where I practiced court-appointed criminal defense.
My practice at Hillsboro Law Group focuses on criminal defense and juvenile dependency. As an attorney, my strongest traits are my compassion for my clients and my desire to achieve the best result for them. I have a passion for helping people navigate the legal process, and I have substantial experience representing clients in criminal court.
I dedicate my free time to my other two passions – running and my family. I have been a competitive runner since high school and now focus mostly on cross country running events. I am happiest running on Oregon's beautiful forested trails. As the mother of three children, I enjoy spending time with them, as well as baking and knitting.
