"My goal is to explain the process we will navigate and the legal issues in your case. You will first help me identify your objectives, facts, and circumstances. I will set out our path to resolution. We will work diligently together to reach your goals."

Matthew Hall attorney

After growing up in four states all over the country, I came to Oregon for college and found home. I earned my bachelor's degree at Lewis and Clark College, then received my law degree, also from Lewis and Clark. I was selected to represent the law school in regional Moot Court/Mock Trial team and served on the Moot Court Honor Board.

For nearly 15 years after law school I worked as a prosecutor for the Washington County District Attorney's Office. There my working knowledge grew as I worked directly with police, victims, witnesses and the court system.

Now I focus on the rights of the criminally accused at the Hillsboro Law Group PC. Their rights affect a broad range of people.

From working through evidence in cases involving domestic violence as a prosecutor I gained an understanding of the law's impact on families in the most trying of times. Having also prosecuted cases involving car crashes and physical injury, I gained experience that I will use to help clients coping with personal injury and property loss.

Outside of work I am a live music enthusiast and enjoy time in the Oregon outdoors with my wife and two teenage sons—and our Australian Shepherd puppy, Louie Stardust.
