About HLG

Hillsboro Law Group PC is the latest iteration of a general practice law firm first established in Hillsboro in 1973 and incorporated in 1989. President Grant Burton and Vice President David McCaffery joined the law firm as shareholders in 2006, and have helped lead the law firm to unpredecented growth and prosperity.

In 2009, the law firm changed its name from Garland Burton McCaffery PC to Hillsboro Law Group PC to emphasize our long-term committment to our clients in Hillsboro and Washington County, Oregon.

In 2012, prominent Hillsboro family law attorney James Zwaanstra joined our practice, and now leads our dynamic Family Law Team.

In 2014, our law firm consolidated its previous Hillsboro and Beaverton offices into a single 6,250 square foot office conveniently located in the Hawthorn Farms area of Hillsboro. Our practice continues to experience dynamic growth in our new location.

In 2016, Peter Tovey became our law firm's fourth shareholder, having established a flourishing immigration law practice at HLG.

In 2022, Yvana Mols became a shareholder after excelling as an attorney and leader in the Oregon legal community. Yvana is now HLG's vice-president.

In 2023, Roger Wong became HLG's newest shareholder.

In 2024, HLG opened a satellite Portland office to enhance our services to clients throughout the greater Portland metropolitan region, as well as to build connections in the broader Oregon legal community.
